Oxenholme station to Windermere: plan your transfer
Windermere village, Windermere railway station and lakeside hotels can mean different destinations. Tell us the exact hotel or accommodation address when booking your transfer from Oxenholme, rather than just “Windermere”.
Send your travel date, train arrival time, pickup and destination, passenger numbers and luggage details. If you need a vehicle for a larger party or wheelchair travel, describe your requirements when you enquire so we can check suitability and availability.
Returning from Windermere to Oxenholme
Arrange your return station transfer in advance. Give us the departure time of the train you intend to catch and your collection address, so we can discuss a suitable pickup time. Please tell us about any changes to your plans; all journeys are subject to availability and confirmation.
Attractions and taxi tours
If your destination is Bowness, a lake cruise or a nearby visitor attraction, include its name and any timed booking. We can discuss the station connection or a planned taxi tour, but this page does not offer a local hop-on taxi service around Windermere and Bowness.
For a trip with several stops, tell us your interests, preferred duration and start and finish points. See our taxi tours page to enquire about a planned itinerary.
