Can I remain in my wheelchair during the taxi tour?
We have wheelchair-accessible vehicles. Vehicle fit and availability depend on your wheelchair and party, so please share the chair type, approximate dimensions and any transfer requirements when booking. We will confirm the suitable vehicle before your tour.
Do you offer assisted walks?
Yes. Where suitable and agreed in advance, your tour can include a short assisted walk selected around your mobility, preferred distance, surfaces and the conditions on the day. Please tell us what support is helpful when you book.
Can you include Miles Without Stiles routes?
Yes. We know the Lake District's Miles Without Stiles network and can use it when planning. No route is suitable for every person or wheelchair: gradients, surfaces, facilities and conditions vary, so we consider your requirements and check current route information before setting out.
What happens if the Lake District weather changes?
Your itinerary is flexible. If rain, wind, cloud or road conditions affect the original plan, your driver can adapt the day with sheltered valleys, accessible attractions, scenic drives, viewpoints, café stops or a different suitable route—so you can still get the best from your time in the Lakes.
Can a companion or carer travel with me?
