All Day Tours – Lake District
Full day Lake District Taxi Tours leave from Windermere, taking in the lake and Ambleside before departing the towns to take in the infamously beautiful Kirkstone pass. After stopping to see Highland Cattle we continue down the pass to Brother’s Water and Ullswater, stopping to take in the stunning waterfall trail at Aria Force. From here we head to the wonderful town of Keswick, with views reaching towards Blencathra, Skiddaw and Catbells mountains as well as Derwent Water. After Keswick, we may head to Buttermere, considered on of the most beautiful places in the UK. Thirlmere, Grasmere and Rydal Water may feature next, boasting stunning caves and delicious gingerbread. Coniston may also feature on the tour, with opportunities to stop and take a boat trip on the lake’s traditional steam vessels.
